1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage and pixel tags, which serve comparable purposes. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

2. Cookies we use

We use a deliberately small set. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies, and we do not permit third-party advertising networks to place cookies through this website.

Name / typePurposeCategoryDuration
PHPSESSIDMaintains your session while you browse and submit formsStrictly necessarySession
rt_popup_seen (local storage)Records that our on-site offer notice has already been shown so it is not repeatedFunctional6 hours
Analytics cookiesAggregate, non-identifying measurement of page views and site performanceAnalyticsUp to 26 months

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, form submission and security. The site cannot operate properly without them and they cannot be switched off through our interface, though you may block them in your browser at the cost of site functionality.

4. Functional storage

We use browser local storage to record whether you have already been shown our on-site offer notice. This is a single value with a short lifetime and contains no personal information. Its only purpose is to avoid repeatedly showing the same notice to the same visitor.

5. Analytics

Where analytics are enabled, we use them to understand aggregate patterns — which pages are read, how visitors arrive, where the site performs badly. We configure analytics to minimise the data collected and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

6. How to control cookies

Every major browser allows you to view, delete and block cookies. The controls are usually found under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies will prevent parts of this website from working correctly.

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions

7. Opt-out preference signals

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) and comparable browser-based opt-out preference signals where our systems can detect them. If your browser sends such a signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — although, as set out in our Privacy Policy, we do not sell or share personal information in the first place.

8. Do Not Track

There is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not track visitors across third-party websites, so no additional response is required.

9. Changes

If we add or remove cookies we will update this page. The “last reviewed” date at the top of this document shows when it was last revised.
